CARPOOL from Philadelphia to the April Rally in Harrisburg

Hey all,

I'm new to the forum, but not to the cause.

I'm trying to organize at least one carpool to the April rally in Harrisburg from the Philadelphia area. I live in Northeast Philly, so I'm looking for interested people from the Northeast as well as Lower Bucks and Eastern Montgomery Counties.

I'd prefer to be a passenger, but I'd consider driving if I must. An equitable arrangement will be made to share the costs (gas, tolls, parking, etc.). I think the passengers should contribute more to the out-of-pocket expenses as the driver will be doing the driving using his (or her) own car.

Ideally, four people would fill a modern sedan. If anyone has a minivan or passenger van and there are enough people interested in going, that would be even better.

I missed the last two rallies, I don't want to miss this one.

Any takers? I'm looking for at least three other people.

I'd like to go to the rally if I can. It would be great if a few people were willing to carpool, that definitely makes things a lot easier. I also live in Northeast Philly, so that also makes things a bit easier. Please keep me updated on what is going on.

P.S. - I have a small 92 Nissan, so driving everyone wouldn't exactly be the most ideal situation, but I wouldn't mind if it came down to it.

I live in Lower Salford, MontCo, and don't mind driving. Keep in mind, I am a pipe smoker, so if that bothers you, well. If you need a ride, PM me and we can hook something up. I only have two seats available, as my fourth is taken by a car seat.

My plans have changed, and I will now be getting a hotel room and staying there Sunday night. I booked a double, smoking. Reasoning is I don't want to leave that early on Monday morning, so if anyone wants the spare bed, you're welcome to it.

I'll probably be going and I'm interested in car pooling. I live in Glenside and can meet somewhere. I can drive.
I've got an Acura MDX (if I can steel it from my wife ) that will fit 3 extra people comfortably.

I have some disappointing news...I will not be able to attend the rally due to a schedule change at work. however, I am still spreading the word about the rally, we need as many voices as we can get.
