I had one for a couple years. Nice gun, no problems. Just didn't need it any more so I sold it to a member from this site.

Now, in my opinion, I would rather have a Remington 870 wingmaster. I just love my wingmasters!

Looked at a more tactical-set-up when I was shopping for a HD gun as a gift, went with the 870 because of the lower cost and, more importantly, better aftermarket support.

Is this is a HD, range, target or hunting gun? If aftermarket support for stocks, fore ends, barrels etc is important, I would steer towards something more mainstream (870/500). Otherwise everything I have seen/heard about them suggests "go for it!"

Owned a 12ga Nova, loved it. Upgraded to a SuperNova, loved it more. Not I upgraded to a Super Vinci, hopefully my last love!

PS - I have the SuperNova for sale.

Thanks for the info guys. I have read stories about the company suggests not shooting steel shot through the barrel. But if I used mod factory choke tube is that ok? Or does this gun just not do steel?

The guns eat steel shot like candy, many waterfowlers consider these the finest pumps for the field.

Would you just recommend the modified cylinder or just stay away from a full choke? Also do the novas come with screw in choke tubes much like the mossberg 500?

Yes, the benellis have screw in chokes - they have the beretta/benelli threads. The chokes it comes with are great. I however use a Carlson's extended modified in my gun for most of the waterfowl season. What choke you use depends on what your trying to do with the gun.

Your welcome to shoot mine if you ever get up this way, provided I still have it!
