    Default Ford explorer

So I take my explorer in for inspection today. i leave it like I always do. I return after work to pick it up. It failed the mechanic tells me. The reason it failed is because the rear spring shackles are rotted most of the way through.

The guy insist that he had mentioned last go round that they would need attention. Uh no you didn't, and so on.

Anyway i just returned from dropping it off at a spring shop. They tell me it is really common for the spring shackles on explorers to rot off.

if you have one you might want to look at them. by the by i have two explorers.

the cost to replace them are about $180.00.

    Lots of fun.

We got a ford ranger at the shop for the same thing right now. Ford makes good trucks, but it seems they have alot of rust issues.
