    Default York courthouse Weapons Lockers?

i heard a very disturbing report yesterday from the guy at the gunshop i frequent. he said that not only does the new courthouse in york not allow cell phones, but they won't provide storage facility for handguns unless you're a cop. anyone know if there is any truth to this?

he had been there a few days ago and had to go back today, so it was a relatively recent report......

I have heard that also and told "the gorilla" this. I am from York and also know some of the LEO down there. I think I'm gonna have to "unleash the gorilla".

ROFLOL, he didn't believe me when I told him this a few weeks ago. I think it is time to unleash the gorilla.

I carried there. I checked my weapon. The sign says no phones, no weapons. The sign at the lockers says Police only. I walked up said I needed to check my weapon, they opened a locker for me and I put it in. I think I even got to take the key with me.

I asked if I could put my phone in with the gun. NO was the answer.

Oh and you will see no less than 30 people inside with phones. Lawyers and employees can have them, you can't.

My wife and I got the same story on two different occasions at the Beaver County courthouse. As long as we're unleashing the gorilla, maybe I could get a copy of the letter to pass along.

yeah, they have a bank of about 50ish lockers... and they allow you to check phones and weapons so long as you inform them.

i have never been searched when i go in in uniform. waved through with my ID....
