If you cannot take your "stuff" with you consider "deactivating" it. Remove the bolt from rifles, crane and cylinder from revolvers, slide from semi-autos and take the parts with you. Put the gun frames up high in your attic and hope they stay put. All in all parts critical to the guns function but not the gun itself or a serial numbered frame so you are "legal".
