Default UPDATE to can't pull the trigger thread

After viewing some of the 1911 threads, and more importantly finally having enough cash, I am ordering my Les Baer tomorrow.

Monolith Heavyweight in .45 ACP with 1 1/2" guarantee.

Here is a link. I don't suspect mine will be here for several months.

I'm not a fan of the target sights in the rear, but other than that...hell of a beautiful piece. Try not to let the anticipation kill you!

I will be using it for bullseye, so the sights will be fine!

Congratulations. I had a Les Baer several years ago. I liked it, it was well made. I got a hankering for something else and sold it.

First of all, it is different. Secondly, along with the extra weight left on the slide during production, (I did opt for the heavy weight), it will save me some recoil during timed and rapid fire courses of fire in bullseye. I see you are local gun, maybe we could get together and shoot when it comes in....sometime next spring. I shoot at Walnut Creek. Oh, and I am paying for the 1 1/2 at close to $300.
