    The Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter in 44 mag is nice, it comes with Ruger scope rings wich attach on integral dove tail mounts. I also hunt with a Magnum Research BFR in .45-70. It does not have any more recoil than the 44 mag,but i would not be afraid to poke some .45-70 at a black bear either!
