    Default Displaying guns.

Hey guys I would like to display some of my historic firearms in my "man cave". I really do not want to use pegboard. Any other suggestions on hooks?

We had a bulletin board with glass doors back in the day. It was deep enough for handguns and kept them dust free and protected from casual handling. I don't know if newer ones are deep enough or not? We used screws covered in shrink tubing and hung them by the trigger guard.

Antlers would be cool if it goes with your decor.

I would make a life size standup of Bloomberg with his hands out holding it with a big smile on his face.
Jimmy cracked corn and HE didn't care! Why should I?

I used moulding and reinforced shaker pegs. Assemble, stain and mount to wall. I use 9 a inch spacing for modern/20-30 rd mags and 5-6 inch for bolt guns. it's an easy project. I also collect bayonets/swords, 3-4 inch spacing for these.

How about a 'rifle boot' deal, only the rifle boot would be life-sized, bent over at the waist, statues of obongo, reid, and pelosi. The rifles would be inserted 'rifle boot' style right up their asses!

    Check out http:7.62x54r.net

This site has plans for dozens of racks. I built a verticle 14 rifle floor rack out of furniture grade plywood for about $100. They also sell completed racks.

If you search for the thread "Check out my reloading/gun room" you can see my pictures.
