    Exclamation Hazleton LEO shootout

I'm suprised no one posted anything about the 2 Hazleton City Police officers were shot in an ambush involving a man suspected of shooting and injuring a 9 yo boy in the leg.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Wow....... I'm surprised that wasn't on that national news. That's insane. That kid is crazy; wonder why he did it.

It didn't hit the big time because it's hard to get anti cop or anti gun spin on this one.

Two Hazleton officers justifiably fired 108 rounds, killing a teen who was accused of shooting a 9-year-old boy and a police officer, Luzerne County District Attorney David Lupas said Wednesday.
I'm not saying it was or wasn't justified but how about a little less editorializing and a little more reporting. I could care less what the paper thinks is justifiable and more about getting facts and only facts so I can conclude myself.

Thanks for posting the URL's. I just hate when news tells me what is what.

Earlier this week, someone posted the coroner's report. Deeb was hit, something like, 27 times. Only 5 or 6 rounds actually penetrated; and many HP's flattened out no more than skin deep. Among the rounds that did penetrate 2 or 3 were 5.56mm. Right now, 40 S&W, GD's are being very critically looked at.

A recent FBI report which concluded that, 'bullet penetration is more important than expansion' is also being reconsidered. If you get ahold of the coroner's report be sure not to overlook the comment, 'The corpse was naked except for a number of feathers from the subject's down jacket.' I thought this remark to be, particularly, revealing!

(Guess my preference for FMJ in 32 and 45 acp might be, 'on the money' afterall.)

Two cops fired 108 rounds? Um....don't think so.

Last I heard the cops fired 50+ and the dead perp shot the rest.

Last number I heard was a total of 120 +/- shots fired. Thats total, not number fired by the officers.
