Yeah, this will stop the "gun violence"...you know, those unruly guns that just keep jumping up and shooting people.

None of these feel-good measures will do a thing to curb violent crime. None of these schemes are really about ending violence committed by criminals. None of this muddle-headed thinking will protect a single child.

Chicago is a prime example of the fact that strict gun regulations do not reduce crime. Instead of using some logic and perhaps giving some consideration to another way, these idiots want to restrict the rights of the law abiding to deal with the epidemic of criminal behavior. It is illogical, pointless and foolish at best. It is deceitful, cunning and calculated to disarm those who may need to exercise their right to self defense.

So, let me get this straight ... they've had all these murders committed with firearms in Chicago, a place where you can't legally carry outside the home.
In Vermont, where anyone, be they resident or non-resident, needs no license whatsoever to carry a gun outside the home, you virtually hear of no gun crime taking place whatsoever.
And yet these politicos blame the gun?! Does this make any sense whatsoever?! Of course not. But what do you expect from these people.

It's actually simpler than that: it's about blaming their political opposites and using a convenient scapegoat for the failures of their worldview. Also, high crime is good for government: more cops, judges, lawyers, and prison guards, security guards, more invasion of privacy, asset forfeitures, iron fist power, and a begging pleading public who when unable to adequately protect themselves must fork over more and more money and more of their freedom in exchange for the promise of safety. Anti gun people don't lack understanding, they're fully aware and fully complicit in it. They're soulless, sociopathic cannibals.
