Default Man shot in Clinton County

Has anyone heard about the shooting in Western Clinton County that happened yesterday?

I have searched local news sites and could only find very little details:

This happened very close to where I live and from rumors I have heard sounds like it may have been justifiable. Waiting for more details before I have an opinion.

From what I hear is that the son in law was locked out by his wife(in her fathers house) the husband forced his self in and started choking her. The father tried to get him off and was injured in the process and then shot him in the chest to stop the attack in which later he died. Sounds like it was justifiable but I guess nothing is happening until the DA decide if charges will be filed.

Nothing more in the news about it either.

The CDT has an article, and the Lock Haven Express article has been picked up by ceasefirepa. Some comments on the CDT article seem to point to Bitner not being a nice person.
