Default What would you do ?

Now this is only a scenereo:

You are married, two kids, wife, the whole deal ,family man CCing .
You get in a tussel with some home-boys,they don't know who you are
and you don't know who they are. You don't live around here ,just passing through.
You have to deffend yourself and you kill two of these guys.No-one saw what happened except the home-boys that escaped. Would you make that call-911 ?

yes, if they are "home boys" they probably already have a record. And if it was a good shot, not calling the cops may have WAY worse repercussions.

NO! You are not required to incriminate yourself. If the police can't figure it out, and you left no evidence at the scene as in shell casings with your prints on them, don't make any calls.

If they do find you, as far as the law is concerned, you claimed the fifth.

^^ Really looking forward to the right answer on this one too. I always thought that you have to call the police instead of just leaving the scene and hope they don't find you.

That's why a revolver is a great choice for a carry gun....no casings left at the scene. If there is no one to identify you,no security cameras pointed your way,if you did what you had to do to defend yourself, make sure the perps are deceased and get the hell out of there. Even if you were totally in the right, once you pull that trigger, your life is changed forever. At the very least the cost of legal representation will be a huge burden. Plus you are now identified as the killer of innocent choir boys on the way home from church,or whatever Jesse Jackson will protray you as. Do what you have to do and shed no tears,it was either them or you.

I get why some of you say no to calling the cops, but arent you worried about what happens if you do get caught? Even if your 190% correct in doing what you did i would think a jury would convict you just because you left someone dead (or dying) after you shot them.

Perhaps call the Popo and report a shooting and not say you were the shooter or the victim. Call the Lawyer and let him talk to the Police.

I'm not sure I like the term home boys, but, in the first post, you stated they did NOT know you, and you were just passing through.

    Which is it?
