    Default Sig Sauer P226 magazines?

Does anyone know of a good website where I can buy some 15 round and possibly 30 round magazines for my Sig Sauer P226? Also, are there any brands that I should look for or avoid? Thanks for your help.

I found 15 round mags for $12 at www.lg-outdoors.com. They are made by National Magazines. Is this a good deal, or are these junk?

It depends on what brand you are looking for. Personally I only buy factory magazines anymore for the reliability factor. I hear about too many problems with the less expensive aftermarket mags. But to each his own....

Try taking a look at http://www.cdnnsports.com/ Thats where I get most of my mags from and they seem to have good prices.

You can pick up sig 226 mags on the sig arms website. You might also want to try CDNN Investments website.

I just bought some NIB factory P239 mags on gunbroker.com from the following dealer:

    Joe Galibois
    Marshfield Arms
    PO Box 202
    Merrimack, NH 03054
    603-860-4836 (7pm - 10pm, Eastern Time)

His prices were a LOT lower than anywhere else I looked. $5 shipping regardles of number of mags purchased - very reasonable.

    try here www.topgunsupply.com
I would stick to mecgar( they make the factory magazines) or factory magazines.
The mecgar magazines are a great bargain over the factory mags, cost less and have 2 extra rounds.

I don't know of any 30 rounders but there are 20 rounders from the factory.

Agreed. If you are looking for mags, get the 17rd mecgar (flush fit). Mecgar is the best aftermarket mag made and they make some of Sig's factory mags. Mecgar also makes some mags for Beretta, Browning and Keltec and these manufacturers put them with their guns as their "factory" mags.

I have owned a dozen of these mags when I had a 226 and and they were flawless.

Stay away from national magazine. I was stupid and bought a bunch one clearance. They don't feed for crap, even hard to fill the mags. Better luck throwing bullets than feeding through those crappy things.
    Is it five o'clock yet?

As they are so cheap, I can't say I'm surprised. I was considering trying them out anyway, but now I will steer clear. Thanks for the advise.

As for everyone else, I appreciate the help. I think I am going to buy a couple 17 round Mec-Gar magazines.

I've been wondering some solid info on mags for my p226 and low and behold I find some just in time (haven't bought any mags yet). Sounds like Mec-gear is going to be it.

Aside from top gun supply and CDNN does anyone know of good places to find deals?
