Waiting time for C&R and where to use it once it comes

I've been waiting five weeks for my C&R. Seems long, wondered how long others with recent applications have been waiting? I'm also interested in any good places to find C&R mil surp rifles. I'm interested in Mausers at the present time.

How much do you save? Is this actually worth going after a C&R for?

for the $10 a year, it's worth it. i saved a few hundred building an ar15.

Do you know if Sarco gives a discount off their showroom pricing for C&R? I've noticed they used to have a difference between Shotgun News and the store but they haven't had firearms in the SN adds lately.

I got mine in the spring and it took right around 5 weeks to get mine. I got the license then a week or two later they sent me all of the rules and other information in a big fat envelope.
