Watching ABC World News tonight as I do each night.

Not because I am seeking the news, but because in a weird way, I want to see what the MSM is up to.

And, according to Betsy Stark, 63K jobs were lost last month AND unemployment is down 4.1%. And do you know why, unemployment is down...because people that are looking for jobs have given up. They've quit.

That's right. People looking for jobs, have stopped. Looking for jobs.

DOES THAT MAKE SENSE TO ANYONE?

The story then went on to profile a guy that has sent out 150 resumes, received 8 interviews and no job offers. He lost his job selling light fixtures. Now he says he can't even find work at fast food shops because he is "over qualified".

I guess the MSM's self-fulfilling prophecy of a recession has come true. Reality, basic economic forces, supply/demand, capitalism be damned.

The only thing the news is good for is the weather.

There are boat loads of jobs available. You just need to bring yourself to say "Do you want fries with that." Most stores in my area are hurting for workers. People just don't want or more likely can't live on those jobs.

I don't watch the news, save local news about stuff that is going on in the area. I'll stick with a newspaper, because if you compressed all the 30 minutes of crap on the TV news, you wouldn't even get half of the front page of a newspaper.
