How many carry more than 1 firearm .is it abnormal to do so .i was talking to my gf and I just bought an ankle holster and she found it some what a humor that I would carry more than one .
I told her "hey you never know ,if I'm allowed why not "

Almost always have my TCP in my pocket but I OC my primary. Either my CZ75 or my S&W 10-6.

My 75 holster is a low ride. I will occasionally CC my CZ83 iwb along with it in a T shirt or in a shoulder rig with a jacket when its colder.

It is always good to have a back up.

This, if it saves your life it isn't overkill. Plus depending on the situation, you may not be able to draw your primary carry easily. I find it is a lot easier/faster to draw my backup from an ankle hoster then my primary from IWB sitting in a car, or knocked to the ground, etc.

My daily set up is one Pistol on me, 2 knives on me and my AR15 carbine in the trunk. 2 other knives in my GHB and a machettete in my trunk.

With a modern quality reliable firearm i dont think i need more than 1 pistol on me.

I normally carry a Diamondback in my pocket and then depending on where I'm going I'll OC my Glock 23 or leave it in the car. I always have a knife on me as well. I don't think its abnormal but look who your asking My friends or the girls I'm with will always bust my balls about carrying so much but you what when were going for a walk alone at night or we hear rustling in the bushes they are always say "I'm glad you got your guns with you." So go ahead and carry two, add a knife while your at it or a machete like the other poster has, just be comfortable with what you carry.

I carry my Delta IWB or in a shoulder holster (if driving on trips or long distances).

My Rohrbaugh 9mm has taken up permanent residence in right front pocket.

    I carry one.

However, I do not think two is too many.

So if you have a reliable pistol, you don't need more than one... but you need that many blades? Care to expand on that? I'm just curious why you wouldn't only need one reliable knife as well.

I carry "heavy"... primary, BUG, spare mags, and sometimes that includes a back up knife and a back up flashlight. I get the back up logic, it just seems like you don't see a need for more than one pistol, but have four knives and a machete at your disposal.
