.32 acp for carry?
I just purchased a Bersa Thunder .32 and once I put 150 rounds thru it I will carry it IWB.
I know the .32 is not a popular carry gun, but it was once used by the Police and Army in europe. It has low recoil so it is easy to get follow up shots off. Mine has ten round mags.
Anyone here carry a .32?

Re: .32 acp for carry?
I own two, old Walther PPs that are probably close in size to your Bersa, maybe the barrels are a bit longer. If I had a newer one like a PPK I might add it to the rotation, or a mouse gun like Knight mentioned. But .380s are the same size or even smaller and pack more punch.
As for effectiveness there was a long thread that started out asking the same question about .25 but ended up covering a lot more ground. You will find some information there:

Any gun in your pocket is better than the one at home in the night stand, and if the bullets won't stop the bad guy don't forget to try an aimed throw .

Re: .32 acp for carry?
I have a .32 for those times I really need to conceal. I don't like carrying it because of the caliber, but like the saying goes (ok, so I modified it for the caliber...) , the .32 in your pocket is better than the .45 at home.

Re: .32 acp for carry?
I have a 32 as my BUG and will carry it by itself when my clothing requires it. I haven't met anyone yet that wants to get shot by a .32
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.

Great thing to have for those times when you can't carry a gun. Much more effective than harsh words.

i carry my llama special when i really want to hise it. it looks like a small 1911. i use magtech h-p.
i had read that nazis tested the .32 and .380. and found that the .32 penatrated better and did just as much damage as the .380.
