    Default Glock 20sf

Looking into the 10mm, want to know how the recoil is compaired to 45acp. The glock looks like it's sturdy enough for the hotter round.

I have the 20sf and with plinking loads around 1200fps, 180gr it's not bad at all. Not up to the hype it has. It's not much more than my 45's and people tend to comment the same when I allow them to try it. With high power loads there is a bit of a snap to it. I also run a steel guide rod and I believe ?24#? recoil spring, I'd have to check on that weight?

the 20sf does very well with anything you can put through it. i recently got one and have put everything through it from 180g range stuff to 230gr hardcast. i find it pretty fun to shoot. doesnt hurt but you know you are shooting a gun.

Same here. I have the 20c, so the recoil on mine is about the same as a full size 9mm

I can't compare to a .45, but my G29 recoil isn't bad at all. Don't forget that 10mm ammo can be found from mild to insane.

PRVI shoots slower that bottom end .40 loads.

I currently have a G29, S&W 1006, and a 1911 all chambered in 10mm. It's a bad ass caliber and you need one. The G29 is a bit snappy but the rest are smooth and not much different from .45.

A G20 is soon to come my way next. I'm slowly collecting all current offerings in 10mm. After the G20 its going to be a hard toss up between a DW 1911 or the Smith wheel gun chambered in 10. Trust me once you shoot one you'll want more.

Btw my EDC is a G29.

I love my 20sf..recoil is mild compared to something like a 1911 if you ask me.
