It's in the mail
Sent in my SBR paperwork today, my first potential NFA item. Now to watch the pot boil.

Re: It's in the mail
Me being an old fart, i havent added any new "stamps" to my collection for some time now. Use to send the forms to a PO box in Gettysburg. Is it still the same or no? Maybe if the sheriff here would sign, I'd like to get a supressor for the M11.

Nope no longer go to Gettysburg. They now go to west viginia or Georgia. You should just sell me that m/11! Lol

Re: It's in the mail
I mailed mine out to WV. From what I see in other thread I've got six months of waiting if things go smoothly....

Re: It's in the mail
I have a 300 blackout pistol I built that I'd like to put a stock on, then eventually a suppressor. Which brings up the question, who around here can order me in a YHM QD 7.62 suppressor so I can start the paperwork (and wait) on that. Lazy, sleepy yellow labs do horrible with muzzle awareness.

Re: It's in the mail
I'd be happy to help, but you probably wouldn't want to drive 4.5 hours to pick it up.
I'd highly recommend against the YHM for your SBR build. The YHM can is beefy; both large and heavy. It will feel like an anchor on the end of the SBR. They are nice for longer bolt guns that are mostly shot off a bench or something like a .308 battle rifle.
If you don't mind a little extra the AAC 762-SDN-6 can't be beat for the BLK!CDS ARMS.com - 'LIKE' Us - MG Rentals - Colt Defense AR-15 & Glock Certified Armorer

Re: It's in the mail
The cost difference is not a concern. The concern is buying something that will wear well and last me a long time considering the cost/time investment. I'm willing to sacrifice weight for wear. I really want something that will work on the blackout, able to swap over to the pictured 308 rifle, and maybe try out on my 5.56 rifles.
