When LEGALLY applicable, I never carry my LTCF or DL...
I know this concept has been discussed in multiple threads but there may be a use for a seperate focus on this type of action.
Personally I never carry any form of legal ID with me if not legally needed. Granted, this takes a bit of planning BUT I believe it is worth it.
I only carry the minimum required LTCF if legally needed and I am not driving.
WHY?
Two reasons: I was illegally searched once due to OC and what is to stop that from happening again and the LEO getting information they have NO right to take. Second, it makes it much easier to refuse the "REQUEST" to see my LTCF/DL if it/they are not on me.
I wonder if I am the only freak that does this? Having been involved in a bad OC event, I have decided to take this tact so I do not weakly give in if too much pressure is applied or have my ID forcibly removed.

Never. I never go anywhere without some form of ID on me.

I always carry ID... who knows what the day will bring.. an emergency could surface where I would need to drive.. or even just need to ride in a car.. I dont want to disarm to ride in a car.. much easier just to carry ID..

I always carry my DL and LTCF because I am a creatur of habit. If I get out of the habit of carrying my wallet, I might forget it when I need it (for driving or carrying concealed).

I voted for both yes and no, because I have on occasion intentionally left my LTCF or DL at home when going out locally. Also, unless there's a justifiable need, I don't turn over my ID when asked.

Re: When LEGALLY applicable, I never carry my LTCF or DL...
IF asking me, many times I OC main and CC my BUG. Legally then I have my LTCF on me. If only OC for some reason, and no car plans, I leave the LTCF/DL at home. If I am driving, I of course have both LTCF/DL with me BUT when I leave the vehicle to walk around, I leave the LTCF/DL in the vehicle (if only carrying main).
These are some examples of what I meant by legally needing them on my person.

I voted no, my main fear is that I would have to defend myself, and would then be unable to identify myself to the responding officers. Also, I live out in the middle of nowhere, so I pretty much have to drive to get anywhere.
