    Default Wire Frame .22LR Rifle

Does anyone have any info on an old wire frame .22 LR rifle? My buddy just acquired one from a relative and we can't find any markings on it. I'm guessing it was made during the depression as a bare bones plinker. It is single shot and the barrel rotates to the side to insert and remove the bullet. The stock is just heavy black wire with no wood or fancy features at all...any info would be appreciated!

PS...it is similar to this one, but not the same!

Per the other thread and my 1998 standard catalog of firearms it is a:

    Garcia Bronco.

They made a single shot .410 bronco from 1968-1978 and they were built in Italy.
    Value (from a 1998 book):
    NIB 125,,,EXC 100,,,VG 85,,,Good 75,,,Fair 50,,,Poor 30

They also made a Bronco .22LR/.410 from 1976-1978.
    Value (from a 1998 book):
    NIB 150,,,EXC 125,,,VG 100,,,Good 80,,,Fair 60,,,Poor 40

A interesting sidenote, Garcia also made a traditional style bolt action rifle called the musketeer from 1970-1972.
