Road trip to Florida with stop in SC, federal protection??
(ive read the stickies but i am still unclear) i have a pa LTCF. i am moving to Florida very soon and plan on driving there down the east coast. i want to stop and spend a few days in South Carolina at my family's house on the way and then drive to Florida from there. I want to bring a shotgun and 2 pistols.
if i keep everything unloaded and locked in the trunk can i make the stop at my family's house in South Carolina?
i am legal to own all the guns in SC but i am unclear on the "and carry" part of the federal law. i think i can carry them in my family's house so does that count? i am NOT going to carry in SC, just stopping there for a few days.
thanks for the help!

In your glove box loaded is gtg in SC....id have one loaded pistol and the other pistol and shotgun stowed away...
you can keep a gun in your hotel room in sc as for the private residence i dunno...also i believe sc has a law about asking permission on bringing guns into another persons home
