Clay Day
This is the deal of the century...$5 gets you two rounds of trap or skeet AND lunch AND a shot at prizes. New and experienced shooters are welcome. For the new shooters, we'll have guns available free of charge along with a little basic instruction so you'll have a clue by the time you actually get out to shoot. There'll also be door prizes, random green targets worth a free round, and more. If you're new to clay shooting, this is your best opportunity to give it a try. So, if you're in the southwest PA area, contact us using the info on the flyer below for a ticket...they're already going fast.

Re: Clay Day
Yeah. I just "started" back into trap shooting and this looks like it would be a good event to attend.

Re: Clay Day
I'm kind of tired of poking holes in paper.
Are you telling me that if I come to this event I would get to shoot at flying objects?
Wow! How cool is that?Koli's back from Ambler.

Re: Clay Day
You guys are giving me the excuse I need to pick up another shotgun.
Some questions:
How many birds are in a round?
Can you bring your own shells or are you required to purchase shells at the event?

Re: Clay Day
Buy another shotgun......help the economy!!!
I'm not sure of the number of shells in a round of skeet....that's a Kenny question. I think 24?
I think if you bring your own shotgun, you can bring your own shells. But if you use a Club shotgun...you have to buy Club shells. But I don't think the Club is charging an arm and a leg for shells. Again....a Kenny question.
So, what I'm really saying is.....I'm posting a lot of words....and I really know nothing.

Re: Clay Day
Not Kenny but...........
25 birds / round
If you use your shotgun you can use your shells and this is preferable.
If using a club gun then it is prefered that club shells are used. (it may actually be mandatory to use club shells in club guns)
be sure to contact Kenny or Rick listed on the flyer as there are only 150 slots (openings).Last edited by Koli01; August 8th, 2012 at 03:44 PM.

Re: Clay Day
25 birds in a round (target shells usually come in boxes of 25, so basically one box a round)
If you bring your own gun, then you can certainly bring your own shells (shot size #7.5 or smaller only...#8 would be ideal if shooting both trap and skeet). Bringing your own factory target shells should be fine for use with the club guns. Still, the shells available for purchase at the event should be competitively priced, so why go to the hassle of stopping somewhere else? Just show up with your ticket and some cash, and we'll get you set up with a gun and some shells.

There are a limited number of openings. (100)
I think half are taken already.
You don't want to miss this if you thinking of trying trap and/or skeet.Koli's back from Ambler.
