AR Pistol worth building?

I just started reading up on AR Pistols. Are they worth it, or should I build a rifle instead. If you have one I would like some feedback & recomendations. I only shoot paper, I don't hunt.

Fun to shoot, less recoil than I would have imagined. I built a 300 BLK that was a ton of fun. I still have a pistol lower and if anyone had any decent uppers in stock I'd put together another one.

If you already have a AR, why not? If you don't then go with the rifle.

I built one for flash and show, and it does exactly what I expect it to do. And yes, I love it!

I put together my 2nd ar lower as a 7.5" pistol, fun but I really like my rifle 16" better all around. Pistol is accurate though at least as far as I have taken it.

SBR=Short Barrel Rifle.

The AR pistol has the buffer tube sticking out the back of it, and that is it, no stock. To put a stock on it (and keep the barrel less than 16") you have to get the BATFE to approve it as a short barrel rifle.

No math is needed. I have one, GROPA has one, enough said right there...
