    Default yaqui slide question

Interested in getting a Yaqui Slide for my Glock 17. Most of the ones I've seen, (esp. Galco,) are for a 1.75" wide belt. My belts are 1.5" wide. Other than going custom, are there any off-the-shelf yaqui slides that are meant for a 1.5" belt?

I used to carry in a HUME JIT. Same deal different name. The only down side is if the barrel gets caught on a chair arm or the flesh of your leg (I'm not as svelte as I used to be) or the center console in a car, when and if you sit, you might lose the gun or at least push it part way out of the holster.

You know, I already have a Don Hume JIT. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's designed to accommodate a 1 3/4" belt....and my standard belts are 1 1/2". I don't like that there's some slop there....

Take it to a leather shop or a shoe repair shop and have them lace stich it closed to fit your belt.

I have the JIT also and it fell out in a bathroom. Don't use it for my revolver anymore but just keeping it in case i do training as it is easy to get out quickly.

My revolvers no longer go in JITs for the same reason. I ended up getting a replacement holster and a low flush toilet. That can get expensive.
