Default A open carry, CCcarry log?

Over the years I have seen a number of threads where people keep a carry log. Why? Is there a legal reason for this?
I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.

Yes. In PA, you are required to keep a log of where you go and what you carry.

An LEO told me, so it must be true.

Seriously though, "legal requirement"? Why would that even cross your mind?

Didn't you hear? With the advent of ObamaCare, you're no longer required to keep manual logs. You'll have a chip implanted and that will do all the tracking for you.

Of course not. Some do this in order to help educate potential/new open/concealed carriers of their experiences, good and bad to help them prepare and feel more comfortable when they begin to carry. That's all.
