I don't want to start duplicate threads...
...which is why I ran a search for "AA-12" before posting a video about the AA-12 shotgun. No hits, so I posted it, only to find out that it was already out there.
Is the search function helpful to avoid duplicate threads? I assume this was human error on my part.

The search function is very helpful to avoid duplicate posts.
Sometimes if you don't get a hit on what you're searching for, you may want to try a different variation on what you're typing in, and maybe that will help.

That is what I came up with after typing in "AA12"
Searching is a good idea, but remember...To error is human. To forgive is PAFOA! LOL
No problem...reposting happens to everyone!
ETA: Actually, I got more hits just by typing in AA-12 instead of AA12!

Yeah, I don't think its a big deal if it is an oversight. This one doesn't come up a lot, but it does every now and then. Just do the best you can to search. That is all you can do.
Dont get discouraged.

Re: I don't want to start duplicate threads...
if your refering to the "duplicate posts" rule, i beleive thats only for YOU to post duplicate posts in diffrent sections, if someone else posts a duplicate of what you posted, i think its ok.
maybe a mod can either verify or deny this for us.

Dupes are a pet peeve of mine, but it happens. If you make an attempt to check for dupes and it happens anyway, no one's going to fault you. That's why this isn't a violation of the forum rules, because no matter how much we try to prevent it, it's bound to happen.

Re: I don't want to start duplicate threads...
Dude! I'm guilty!
I didn't do a forum search for dup posting threads before posting my own dup post thread.
Not intentional negligence....just I thought with the new/old rules, it hadn't been discussed yet.
My bad.

Chambered......no disrespect intended! I had to chuckle when I noticed this thread.
There's no doubt that I have a giggling sarcastic streak in me - but I'm not a insubordinate smart-ass.
I apologize if I'm seeing the lighter side of my posts whereas you see it entirely different than me.
I'm signing off the topic though - I spend nearly all my PAFOA time in the first three rooms in the discussion area.Gary in Pennsylvania
