Default Accuracy check on CCI Velocitor.

I'm reading that Stingers are not good for the 10/22, but haven't had any trouble at all with them in mine (300 rds so far). I don't want to risk damaging the chamber any more than I already may have, so I want to try the Velocitor. Are they as accurate as the Stingers? I have to order them, so I want a general idea, first.

Compared to high velocity and standard velocity ammo, velocitors will have a different point of impact. In my bolt gun they shoot about an inch left and an inch and a half high compared to my zero for federal bulk at 50 yards. I must ask why you're shooting the expensive hunting ammo tho in a ruger 10/22? The velocitor is a small game hunting round. And way too costly to be using as plinking ammo.

I want to hit the x as much as possible. My Ruger is a carbine, fully floated wooden stock (removed ring) and it has a wicked nice trigger job. The Stingers do well out of it and the mini mags as well, but the Velocitor has more umph than the mini mags. I use the Stingers at night when we cull, as well. They will kill without the loudness. I gave away my bulk stuff because it just didn't group well.

Every .22 is different, but my CZ 452 loves the Velocitor.

If your primary thing is bullseye shooting run a subsonic match grade ammo. I've heard and seen good things with the Wolf Gold Match ammo
