Default Something I hate to "admit"

A friend of mine or a guy I know just ordered a mossberg 464 spx...Just kidding I ordered the mossberg 464 spx in 30/30 got it from tanners 399$ new be here monday. I had tossed it around a lot my first impression was man I want that. After hearing everyone trash it I decided to scratch it. In the end I decided to just get it if I want it.

Im really into tactical and the whole trendy zombie fad.

Anyone else out there thinking of getting this?

The idea of a tactical lever action is nothing new. I'd just prefer to take an original and improve what's needed. The AR style stock is a bit much. The AR stock is what makes it ugly, IMO. The railed forend is alright.

If you like it, then who cares about what others think?

I'd rather have something like this.

I seen that I liked that rifle in the link... the ar stock is a little much however you can put any ar stock on the tube so its versatile.

    Thanks for you input also

Im getting the 22 lr version when I getthe chance.
If only to put a supressor on it along with a night vision scope.

That might be good for a stroke or 2 from the more sensitive fudds around here.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

And I have an old gen 1 sitting around with a spare ir illuminator. Gotta use all those rails for something.

Oh and think it needs a bayonet.

I'm holding out for a tac lever gun in 357/38. Ya the AR stock is a bit much but if it was or will be in 357 I'd be all over it. I just don't need another different caliber right now.
