Handgun training at French Creek Outfitters vs Targetmaster

Xanathar, thanks for the info...

I have slowed down on the pursuit of the the training for the moment as I underwent shoulder surgery on 2/22/08. I am working through physical therapy to gain strength and control of my dominant arm and then I'll be good to go. OK, so first get rid of the sling, then flexibiliy, then strength or something like that...along with being able to type with two hands

...the list seems to keep growing.

I did stop by FCO on Friday to poke around and ended up speaking to someone behind the gun counter about the available training. Everyone seemed friendly and professional so I think that I will definitely look at the training there. Besides it was entertaining to hear them crack jokes with the costumers and debate their personal firearm preferences, comparing everything to a 1911. I'll work on staying informed with this type of training as it really does sound exactly like what I am looking for. Heck I might stop by there later this morning after my Physical therapy appointment.

OK, I meant stop by FCO later this morning. Look into the beginners type of training once recovered and PPITH type of training beyond that (maybe their May course).
