Database Error?
Every once in awhile I click on a link to pull up a forum or thread and it pulls up a dead screen saying "database error" It almost looks like the IE cannot connect to page screen, but I'm using firefox and I think they even look the same?
This never happened on the old version.
Figured you might like to know.

Re: Database Error?
Yeah ever since the upgrade the site has been losing it's connection to the database every once in a while. I'll be working on this.

Argh!! It keeps doing it to me. And sometimes the pages stall or load very slowly.

Re: Database Error?
I get about 100-200 a day currently (which is completely unacceptable but considering we average about 70-80k pageviews a day, it's really a drop in the bucket.)
I just haven't had time to fix it this week, been busy with my real job.Dan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association

We're going to move mysqld off the webserver and on to a dedicated database server. should help immensely during heavy load.
