I knew there were still a lot of Makarovs, but throwing a third pistol into the mix doesn't seem like that is going to solve that problem.

I would be interested to know if Strizh would hold up against established guns like Glocks in term of reliability and Durability.
If this gun is like every other Russian small arms, I would buy it knowing that it'll go to hell and back, beary break a sweat(like Glock), but seems to have more natural grip angles that I like(unlike Glock).

I'd buy one if thats the case(if its available for US market)

Oh well, it might be good news in disguise. Maybe the U.S. will believe it must follow suit and adopt the M&P45 as standard and dump the Beretta.

We already have surplus Makarov's here, so what makes you think they're going to stop these?

It would be awesome if the military adopts the M&P 45 though.

Seriously-- excellent design, in a caliber that produces more power AND more capacity than a .45ACP?

All the technology we have, yet the common infantry soldier is strapped with out-dated, poor firearms. Something like this would be a major step in the right direction.

Has anyone ever really adopted 10mm weapons? I always heard 10mm creates excessive recoil and that's why the cartridge was largely overlooked.
