What grain projectile
20" AR HBAR 1/9 twist ..... Best all around round for target and most of all kill shot on balistic jell ..... Haha

Heaviest I run in a 1:9 barrel is 69 grn. Link below will help educate you and always remember......Google is your friend and a great place to start your research.

A lot of people like 69gr. The Hornady 75gr OTM works in most 1/9s. They say it was designed for them. Their factor loads are highly accurate but not sure how the projos rate for reloaders that demand even more. Many people shoot other 75gr in 1/9 as well but some rifles stabilize them and some don't.
You should really try a little of everything with a decent rep for accuracy. Not unheard of to get a surprise and have a light bullet work best.

I'm not 100% sure but I want to say that 69 grains might be the heaviest you can shoot and still stabilize the projectile.
69s SMKs are so accurate out of my AR it's boring
