Does anyone buy back spent brass
I moved up here last year and would be interested to know if there are any places that buy back spent brass. In Virginia I used to go to a gun store that would buy back pistol brass for 1 to 2 cents a shell depending on caliber. Not much but it helped offset cost of new. I don't reload so the brass just keeps collecting.
Thanks for any guidance you guys can offer.

I don't know of any specific locations that would do that.
However, putting an ad up saying "X amount of Y caliber brass for Z dollars!" might yield you a better price. And there are people here that reload for just about every caliber.I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

If you go to gun shows bag them. Those who sell brass there would probably give you a cent or two a piece for them. Possibly you could trade them for something you want there also.
It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

I'm not to far from you here in Feasterville. I'm always looking for good deals on brass. If you have enough to sell, send me a pm.

Re: Does anyone buy back spent brass
I've had success trading and selling at shows and some gun shops but they often want to offer bottom dollar. I am usually lucky if negotiating starts off at 25% of value with hopes of getting 50%.
Most recently I have been taking my scrap and excess brass to a recycling yard. The price flucuates but I average $110 for a 5 gallon bucket full. My last trip was with a 57 lb bucket netting me $107.

Re: Does anyone buy back spent brass
When I'm at the range and I see brass all over the ground, I see coins not brass. When I see a 45acp case, that's a nickel and cpl pennies. 9mm, there's a cpl pennies. 357 mag, there's a dime. Forget looking to practically give your brass away to gunshops, they already made enough off you. Save that brass, separate it and tumble it shiney to get the most for it and sell on the classifieds.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Re: Does anyone buy back spent brass
I have my own tumbler. What brass do you have and how much $.
I'm specifically interested in .45 ACP, 30 carbine and 30-06. As long as I have a piece count and know if the primer pockets are large or small on the .45 we can swing a deal.Molon Labe
