Re: penn rod and gun club?
Is that the one on Beaver Valley Rd with the sign for trap and skeet a few miles past Whitetail Preserve? I'm not familiar with it other than driving by. If you are just looking for a club to join there are a couple others in the area worth checking out.
Mainville Sportsman Club - I am a member and can frequently be found on the pistol range.
Black Creek Sportsman Club - ive never been out to this one but it looks really nice.Last edited by csmith; June 18th, 2012 at 06:27 PM.

Now that is very interesting. I think maybe I'll take a drive up there tomorrow and see if I can spot it. I'll ask around locally and see if anybody has heard of it.

Re: penn rod and gun club?
I took a drive today hoping I could find this place to satisfy my own curiosity. Unfortunately I didn't have much luck. I knew of two Mountain Roads that would be considered Black Creek. I checked both out pretty closely.

Do you by chance have any more info on this place? Am I in the right area? I did notice that the Black Creek club I linked yesterday is on Mountain Shadow Lane, any chance that is it?

Re: penn rod and gun club?
Map 1 is close. If you coming from the golf course make a left on mountain rd (at mountain rd and hilltop drive) after u make that left you will go over a wood plank bridge and soon after that the entrance is on the left. (Yellow gate)

Wow okay I would never have guessed, that means I drove right by it twice today. Ill see if I can get out again tomorrow to take another look. You really have me curious due to the proximity to my house.

I used to belong there. Not much in the way of a range. Nice clubhouse and pond for fishing.
