Default Where to buy personal defense ammo

    Guys,

I live around greensburg, anybody have a place to get jhp ammo in 9mm and .45?

I'm looking for a local shop, not online for some good personal defense ammo.

Your local Wally World usually has at least some Hydra Shock ammo in the case, but I've never seen stuff like Speer or Hornady there.

Thanks I just went there earlier and picked up a 100pk federal target ammo for 19.99, but didn't see jhp there.

I have a gander mountain nearby that I'll check out tomorrow.

    thanks Chris .
Next time I visit the casino, I'll be sure to
    Stop in to meet you.

Btw, what path do you take from Murrysville to Washington?
seems like a pretty far drive to work.

I always take 70w when going to the casino.

I usually just order online, about 80 or so at a time. Don't really need to buy in bulk. Its defense ammo, you're not going to need to use it that often.

Your money, your choice, but you'll usually pay almost twice as much.

    really?

Here I thought I would be saving by buying locally as to online because of the shipping charges for only about 60-80 rounds.

Can you recommend any online stores that you've had good experiences buying from?

I've had good experience at Ammunition Depot. Great prices also!

cheaperthandirt.com is basically where I buy mine. I can get what I want for a decent price. Shipping can run a bit high, but its calculated pretty well. I usually wait till I have a $400 or more order before I order.

But defense rounds, no matter were you look. You're going to end up paying between $15 to $30 for 20 rounds of entry level to medium grade stuff.
