Re: Own a gun, give it to my wife
Only if she has a LTCF. I'm sure someone else will post the quote from the law but as far as I have found, you may only pass your pistol to someone with the intention to let them carry it if that individual has a LTCF.
IANALNever underestimate the stupidity of your fellow human. Always carry a weapon!

Transfers between spouses, parent/child, grandparent/grandchild require no paperwork.

The provisions of this section shall not apply to transfers between spouses or to transfers between a parent and child or to transfers between grandparent and grandchild.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: Own a gun, give it to my wife
You can buy a handgun as a gift for your spouse, child, parent, grandparent, or grandchild.
Any place that asks "Are you the actual buyer?" - you would answer YES.
It is perfectly legal to buy a handgun as a gift for the exempted family relations. It is also legal to loan those family relations a gun on a short term basis, even if they don't have a LTCF because full transfers are unregulated between them.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515
