"The rifle is the weapon of democracy. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military. The hired servants of our rulers. Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

Yeah that's why I quoted "got rid"

It just shows that thugs and criminal will kill people with what ever they can get their hands on at the time.

I had 4 stitches from a cut I gave myself with a butter knife. I t was trying to use the knife to pry something and it slipped and cut my hand.

This just goes to show what I've been saying all along. Anything can be used as a weapon, whether it be a gun, knife, your fists, a chair, etc. Makes me wonder what wouldn't be banned under liberals after enough time. Unfortunately, their loud mouths are not likely to be on that list.
