Re: Allentown Gun Show - Eagle Arms
The big problem with this show is it is always cramped. There is just not enough room in the small room that they have there. I will probably skip this one and wait for the one at the fairgrounds. That one usually seems less compact.

Re: Allentown Gun Show - Eagle Arms
This show has grown in size over time in terms of popularity without expanding the room. I used to get up there as it opened and it was pretty empty. Now, there is a line halfway down the building at 9am and the parking lot is pretty full.
Though, at one point, there was a Friday night to the show. That went away, however.

Just put a smutch of Vicks under your nose before you leave the house . . .
. . . and deodorant in your own usual personal places.

I know, I know. I don't even own a jar of Vicks. Always figured if I had to move bodies it would be the old pro-mask again. Never figured I would voluntarily insert myself into situations so smelly.
They should put it in a tube for emergencies. Like lip balm or whatever.

Re: Allentown Gun Show - Eagle Arms
Is the gun show that is not only cramped with narrow cluttered aisles but the place is also jam packed with the smelly unwashed hordes? Last time, thought that I'd maybe taken a wrong turn and entered the building where the semi-annual Allentown "Body Odor Festival" was being held. This might perhaps be the conference hall with air-conditioning that's either worn out or perhaps set at 87-degrees Fahrenheit to save on electricity.
Think that at least on this sizzling hot summer weekend, I'm going to hide out down here in the nice cool comfortable bunker cellar hole.Last edited by Capt Quahog; June 30th, 2012 at 12:49 PM.
