Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
From what they said at last months shoot, June will be the "back up pistol" shoot where you should bring a second (back up) pistol along for the stages. Did the one last year and was a lot of fun!

Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
What are the rules/requirements for the backup gun portion of the competition: holster types allowed (pocket holster?), magazine round count & mag quantity, minimum caliber, etc? Basically, I plan to shoot a .380 from a pocket holster if allowed...

Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
June 16/2012 will be a four gun shoot. The fourth one will be your BUG. Same thing as usual for the main three guns.Back up gun does not need to fit IDPA BUG gun specs. basically looking for a smaller one than your normal pistol .Officer size 1911 or Glock 19 may shoot but would like everyone to try and stay in the spirit of the BUG so a true subcompact would be best. Each stage will require five rounds, gun will be loaded off the clock and no reloads will be required so bring out your J frames if you got them. There will be four stages round count will be twenty.Holsters will not be required there will be a place to stage your BUG. you may use a holster if you would like, it needs to hold the gun secure and be able to draw it without braking the "180."If you are not sure about your holster bring it and you can check with your squads RO.

Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
Sounds like its going to be another fun challenging shoot. I cant wait.
If you have never been to one of these shoots you should come out and shoot, its a lot of fun and everyone is willing to lend a hand. If your not sure if you want to shoot (bring your guns anyway) you will wish you did.

Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
Well my expectations were right on, another awesome coarse. It was good to see a lot of new faces at this months shoot.
This is the first time I got to shoot a BUG shoot and I had a blast. "I now know what I should be practicing shooting... well all of them i guess"
It was good to get a little pep talk from Wyatt on the last stage, something must have sunk in. Now if i can only remember what he said to start next months shoot.

I've noticed they typically get posted middle of the week. Check tomorrow or Thursday and they will likely be posted.
