    Default 1911 Grips

I was looking for new grips for my 1911. I have the American Legend Series by Pachmayr and the screws that hold the medallion in place keep working loose. I came across this site and thought "WoW"! What do you guys think of her work, pretty amazing huh?

My 1911 was refinished by EFR. Frame is tan or fde and black slide and parts ( trigger, safety, slide release. So, black grips right? Tan or any other color wouldn't work. The frame is a lot darker than it appears in these pics

    Here's mine:

Hogue rubber wrap around for me on all my 1911's that are painted. Functional, feel great, grip when wet or sweaty, look good, and makes the 1911 feel better than a P30. They won't give it a classical look, but the functional look will be down pat.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
