The previous promoters ran the Lebanon show into the ground, (as well as the others that they "promoted"), but since Eagle Arms has added Lebanon to their lineup it's been revived and is better than ever. Both halls and the lobby are always full.
It's always a good show, lots of vendors, lots of buyers and as usual the prices are all over the chart. Some vendors have great prices and others are selling gold plated guns and ammo. You can find the oddball stuff, the run of the mill stuff, the bargains and the over priced stuff.
There hasn't been a "bad" show here since Eagle Arms took over.

They were scheduling it for the beginning of archery season and lost a lot of business. I didn't realize how many archers there were but I heard a LOT of guys say they would go if it was scheduled for a different weekend.

They started out with 4 shows a year, which was great, but it may have been a bit too much. If they drop one or two it would make sense to drop the fall show. Anyone who waits that long to get ready to hunt has already done themselves a disservice anyhow.
Early in the year or just after deer season makes more sense to me in terms of getting ready or looking for what you were missing in the past season.
On the other hand, not everyone is a hunter and any time should be fine.
I can see their strategy in canceling the fall show.

I've been to it a couple times and it is decent. Only issue is the next weekend is Harrisburg Gun show so I'm saving my $ for that one - a lot of Harrisburg bashers out there because of parking $, etc. but I have found it to be the best around by far and would rather pay parking for a good show then free parking for an ok or bad one

Lebanon is a very fine show. As with all shows, some are better than others depending on the time year and some other factors. I'd be setting up at Lebanon if I could be in two places at once. Alas I can't as the PGCA show in West Pa. is the same weekend and less than an hour away as opposed to 3+ hour away for Lebanon. Damn, two good shows the same weekend.

Sounds like it's worth going to. I will not do the Harrisburg Show again. I know it's huge and everything, but I can not stand being charged for parking like that. There's too many other good shows.

I have done it a few times and really, I never come home with a good deal.

I'll try the Lebanon Show.

Both Harrisburg and Lebanon are good shows. I can't set up at Harrisburg this time around due to a work commitment. Sometimes it sucks to be in charge. Ohh well.
