Bigfoot....shoot.......don't shoot?

I just got finished watching a Bigfoot show I had on TIVO and there was something that just didn't make any sence to me.......

Mainstream scientists refuse to believe that such a creature exists and many state that until they have a body on the table in front of them they will never believe it.

The show also said that most all of the states where Bigfoot has been reported have added it to the endangered species list which would make it a crime to shoot one. Something that doesn't exist is an endangered species?

Now how in the world is someone gonna get a body in front of respected scientists if they can't shoot it?

My question is this......hypothetically.....If Bigfoot is real and you came across one in the wild...would you shoot it and risk legal consequences for fame?

What would you do?

The last time I went hunting I saw bigfoot, really! But he was taken away on a space ship before I could shoot.

I would have to say that if Bigfoot was real...and has been able to avoid detection for all this time, then it is an intelligent creature. Who knows...theoretically, it could be as smart as humans or close anyway.

How do you shoot something like that? I wouldn't be able to unless I was protecting myself or my family. Screw fame...sometimes it's better to do the "right" thing.

I have to go with I'd only shoot in the case of self defense. Same with any other animal.

I think PA classified bigfoots (feet?) as wild hogs so it's illegal to shoot them while the PaGC thinks about what to do about the rampant overpopulation.
