Things that piss me off

I would normally editorialize on any photos I have posted, but this
one not only angers me beyond civil discourse, it bears no commentary.
This photo was taken in Berkeley, CA where Code Pink slept on the
lawn of a local high school before starting their protest at the
Marine Corps Recruiting Station. Luckily some patriots were there to
capture this photo. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

I see a bunch of potential targets for the upcoming "Machine Gun Madness" group shoot !! Is there any way we can lock them in that tent until the shoot is over ??

Frankly, i agree with them for the most part. We need more soldiers that will refuse to fight in unjust wars (pretty much all of them).

My take:

It makes me comfortable that they're allowed to say "their thing."

It concerns me when people are not allowed to express their opinions. After all, that's why most of us fight...

I agree with sjl127, the reason our armed forces fight (at least this is what they believe and what the politicians tell us) is that they are protecting out rights (you know the same ones the politicians are dismantling, anyone else find it ironic that John McCain fought for our "rights" and then passed McCain-Feingold, thus limiting freedom of speech??) I agree that we have participated in alot of military action over the last 150 years which was NOT constitutionally entered into, that being said I really can't say this about the current war (even though I don't really agree with it) because the congress DID vote to go to war, bad intelligence or not they approved it.
