Question How are Chester/Lancaster Counties for OC?

Long-time OCer from DE, just moved to Gap. I plan on getting my LTCF ASAP, but will continue to OC once I do (for vehicle carry). Just curious about everyone's expriences with OC in these Counties?

    Thanks.

BTW: In DE, 98% of the public never notices or cares about an OC'd firearm. A group of us would meet locally at a restaurant and out of the 4 years of meeting, only once did we have the police called on us (by a customer), but none of the Officers approached us about it (they investigated the call and left). I've OC'd everywhere I was legally allowed (including banks), all with no issues.

In 3 1/2 years I have not had a problem, but anything could happen anywhere.

By the way, what do you mean by "but will continue to OC once I do (for vehicle carry)." The OC laws in PA are not like the OC laws in DE.

I've never had an issue and I usually OC. CC occasionally.

@ Curmudgeon, I think he was saying he plans on OC'ing but is getting the LTCF so that he can CC, i.e., get into a vehicle, legally.

I know he's been around a while, but OC in a vehicle is legal in DE without any license or permit, and the way I read it sounds like he might think the laws are similar here. Either way I just want to make sure .

I think he is just iterating that he will continue to OC even after he gets the LTCF and not CC. Just covering the legality of driving while carrying with the LTCF.

I've only been ocing for 6mo or so and haven't had any issues. Lancaster, York, Chester and Dauphin. I'm making up for lost time haha

Yes I took it to mean he will still oc after getting his LTCF and that he's getting his ltcf for time in the car. But being able to conceal may be enticing!

You mean the Turkey Hill in New Danville? Conestoga doesn't have a Turkey Hill, unless you were all the way down at the dairy which is in the suburbs of Conestoga.

Lancaster zip code, but I believe they consider themselves their own little village. After all they have a stop light and a Turkey Hill, Conestoga doesn't even have that.

Have you ever OC'ed at Pine View Dairy?

I haven't had any run in's with the police down there every since they formed Southern Regional. I doubt I even know anyone working down there anymore, but I used to know quite a few from Pequea Twp, West Lampter and Conestoga.
