i just got a stevens 12g shotgun and took it out to the range. only brought 50 slugs. turned out it was more then enough as i felt it all the way up to 10 whole rounds.

Saw one at my local shop and it caught me by surprise, I wasn't aware Stevens was back in the game much less kicking out synthetic 18" HD shorties. Good for them.

    I have 3. A 520, 620, and a 311a.

Looks nice. Price is right too.
And I always love a video with the familiar SPAG booths

its not bad for the price plus it has a pistol grip which i always wanted. most models come at that price point dont have that and you would have to buy an added accessory for it.

i didnt get too shoot all the slugs because they didnt allow slugs. i didnt know about that. not a wasted trip though. i was shooting my newly bought m&p 40 prior, which i should make a video too.

Yeah Slugs are a little heavy for breaking a shotgun in. I'd start with bird shots, then #4 rabbit shot, then buck shot then 1 or 2 slugs to end the day.
But you can shoot a whole box of of #6 & #4 shot and not feel it like 10 slugs.

If you don't shoulder slugs they don't beat you up as bad but its hard to hit anything from the hip, you can but its not as accurate as from the shoulder.
