Will a pardon of my felony restore my gun rights?

It depends on if the Governor places conditions to the pardon. But for the most part - yes.

My wife went through the pardon process a few years ago, no conditions were placed on her. She can now (and has) buy a firearm with no problem.

I took a few months of letter writing, putting an ad in the paper, going to Harrisburg for a hearing, and then for the paper work to go through after the hearing.

I sent the application in. On there website it says the process takes a couple of years.
Its been 30 years since my convition on a simple possesion charge. These days I own a small manufacturing company and when I apply for a loan through the Small Buisiness Adminitraion it becomes and issue. Ive never been denied money but its always delayed because of my convition. Thats the main reason I am seeking a pardon.
    Thanks for your info.

I just talked to my wife and apparently I don't pay attention very well. The whole process from start to final letter showing approval of pardon took around 4 years. I guess I only paid attention during the last part when we were getting for the trip to Harrisburg.
