Usually 1 or 2. Very rarely do we pass 3pm anymore. It all depends on the shooters, and how focused and ready they are.

It is a rifle match, not a class.

There are two courses of fire (called a class) that run simultaneously. This means you choose ONE or the OTHER.

Precision Rifle: Scoped (10x or greater), centerfire rifles suited for long range (600Y) shooting. Typically bolt action .308 or 6.5mm rifles, but some semi autos too.

Carbine: A modern semi-automatic sporting rifle. Can be shot with iron sights, red dot optic or a magnified scope.

Ammo restrictions: No velocity over 3100 on precision rifles. No armor piercing, green tip or tracer ammo.

You need to be able to safely handle your firearm. 100% good muzzle control, use of a chamber flag, etc. You need to know how to load, and unload it on command safely and efficiently.

In both cases, there are a lot of fun and challenging shots. It includes moving targets, some physical activity, and a lot of friendly range-ribbing. Carbine shooters engage out to 400Y maximum, but typically not more than 200Y, precision shooters out to 600Y regularly.

It starts at 0830 with a mandatory safety briefing, usually winds up around 1300-1400 depending on size and efficiency.

Any other specific questions, just post them!
