I actually made it out to the range this morning. Had some fun doing shoot/move/shoot drills since the range was empty.

No redundancy! Barracuda load balancers or clustered web servers! I do realize this costs money though

I remember one time during the summer, around 1:00AM, it was so hot all the AC's started to overheat and shut off (outside condensers). The data center started to draw so much power from everything running on overdrive, Amps got so high power started tripping. Building started to power off. Everything was running on battery for about 30 minutes, until they couldn't hold charge anymore. All along, the Generators failed to turn over, and we had the perfect recipe for downtime (and me getting out of bed and to work at 1am due to the constant flow of alerts coming in.) Note: Cisco Switches hate running over their operating temps, but they will do it! HP's, well, they wont.

Thanks for getting pafoa back up

Was it one of the old Commodore 64's, or the Atari 2600, that failed?

The 2600 was the game system, the 800 was the computer.
