I like Troopers so since I drove there I'd give him my ltcf. Chat with him as friendly as possible. See what he knows about oc, get a feel for his personal opinion and hopefully things stay civil and if needed he's open to truth. Most Leo in my area seem to know their stuff.

If the leo is hassling you about OC and demanding ID you won't have a chance to get in your car and drive away.

I would do the same as Mitch10mm. Show the LEO and initiate a conversation about OC'ng.

As from my personal experience I wouldnt show them because you are open carrying and theres no legal reason too. If they pull you over illegally just to see your id then I would show your id and file a complaint against the officer. But thats up to you whether you want to do that or not. Only you can decide on whats best to do in a situation like that.

Remember we are in a state of emergency right now, you need a LTCF to carry at all (including OC)

The one and only time I gave an LEO ID while I was open carrying, he told me to cover it up, and that OC was "F-cking stupid." I have since vowed to go with the "Am I being detained? What crime do you suspect me of committing" route. I don't show ID, because I got hassled when I did.
